6 Ways to Stay Engaged with Your Community This Fall

BV HOA Board

Hello Neighbors! As temperatures slowly start to change from the warmth of summer to the cooler breeze of fall, lets take a moment to enjoy nature.

  1. Check your trees for overhang into the road and over sidewalks. With kids back in school, the larger school buses are having difficulty navigating our roads with the tree branches overhanging into the road. Krapfs has asked us to check our property for this overhang and prune the trees to ensure safety for both their drivers and our neighborhood kids. Krapf's has specially identified 18 properties (located on Milbury, Ivy, Danbury, and Hatteras) with their biggest overhang concerns and those properties will be notified individually. Additionally, take a look at overhang on the sidewalks. We want to make sure everyone can walk comfortably around without having to limbo under tree limbs.

  2. Participate in our fall community yard sale from the comfort of your own driveway. Our next sale is scheduled for September 14, 2024 from 8 am-noon, rain or shine. Advertisements are already online and signs will be placed at the two complex entrances shortly.

  3. Monitor your mailbox. Coming mid-September you will be receiving the annual dues invoice along with a copy of our community budget.

  4. Keep your eyes peeled for our next community meeting. We are currently working on a location/date/time. Once it is scheduled, we will post that information on our website (events page and blog post), Facebook page, and physical signs.

  5. Consider becoming a site member for our website. By becoming a member, you get notifications on any board updates or new events direct to your email inbox.

  6. Join a committee! We are actively looking for neighbors to help us with our meadows project and social committee. If you are interested in joining the meadows project, please email branfordsecretary@gmail.com . For interest in the social committee, please email brandfordboard@gmail.com
